CHOCOLATE CAKE

There tons of recipes for chocolate cakes, but the one I present here is so simple, straight forward, so fast to make and at the same time so good, that you can prepare even if you have guests at the last minute!

INGRIEDENTI
140 grams of dark chocolate
120 grams of raisins
80 grams of butter
a glass of Cointreau
165 grams of sugar
20 grams of candied ginger
2 eggs
130 grams of flour
a teaspoon of baking powder

Put the raisins in a small ball with cointreau and some water to soften it, then squeezed and dried with a paper towel.
In a double boiler, melt the butter and chocolate into small pieces done previously.
Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, flour, eggs, baking powder, ginger and raisins.
Prepare the mixture, butter and flour a baking pan, 22 cm x 18 cm, pour the mixture and bake in the oven already 'heated above 180 C for at least 35 minutes.
Remove from the oven, and with the cake still warm, cut it into squares and garnish to taste with candied orange peels and raisins or more 'simply with powdered sugar.
