About us

We are your guests, a group of real Italian chefs!
Some of us are born in Augusta Sicilia but lived mostly in Roma.
Others are from Roma or hinterland all of us moved to Ottawa ON, Canada. 

In Italy we were owning our own place (restaurant) where we were preparing special dishes for very limited number of guests, offering dishes prepared with great care and using only high quality products. Always following the product present at that moment in respect to the current season.
We decide to create this site, with the scope to share our love for good Italian food, to raise the awareness of the Italian love for sitting around a table as part of our culture, and to promote the activities we will organize.
Also we choose to focus on recipes that could be easily done by anyone, with some practice, instead to propose complex dishes.
All our recipes here are traditional Italian and every day recipes, like as you would be in your Italian home, preparing for your family.
In most cases, we will use local products, and follow the seasons.

Hope we will help you to enjoy more your table, as our family, friends and ourselves do every day.

It is important to understand that any item you will order is fresh!

We DO NOT use prepared food. This to give you the best experience and value for your money.
When you place an order, we will pick the most fresh items to fulfill it. We will prepare any item at the right time to let you have it FRESH.

But this has a cost in time.
Any order you place will require some time for us to do all the preparation steps correctly and at the right time.

Given that we only accept orders placed for the next 36 hours minimum (place between 8 AM and 4 PM, later will be considered the day after). 

We are sure you fully understand the reason of this, and that you agree with us that our quality and your satisfaction are the most important factors.
